Potential cancellation of games - Coronavirus

Not a moment too soon.

If they are sensible. I would love to hear the reasons if they bottle this decision. It would be a stay of execution for about a week tops.

Serious consideration has to be given.to the validity of the PL when this happens though. And I don't mean them winning the title. What about the teams in a relegation battle where a 6 pointer that should have been at home is played behind closed doors? The team they play obviously had the benefit of the home supporters in the earlier fixture. Same for us going for a European place. That kind of makes it unbalanced and unfair. Can see some legal challenges coming.

I'll
'the corona title'

I'll even donate the Corona trophy (s)
Buy one get 5 free cos we would want them to feel cheated now would we.

Presumably any vaccine wouldn't have been tested for long term effects

Suppose if your at the point of dying you would accept anything. Wouldnt just be routinely accepting a vaccine myself 'as a precaution' for this reason.

I can see the PL being played for the rest of the season behind closed doors, unless there's an outbreak amongst players or PGMOL - if that happens then the existing positions teams have would count: champions, CL spots, relegation places.

Its already hit Ajax and Brondby. Ajax hace multiple coaches quarantined for 14 days and Brondby, I think its the team. There is no way one footballer at PL clubs wont get it or have a family member/staff at clubs getting it. People are seemingly picking it up despite having not travelled to any of these places. Its obvious they are catching it off people who are unaware

Napoli, Atalanta, Juventus.

Juve cancelled training the othee week and the rearranged game with Inter was then cancelled. Supposed to be playing this sunday.

The incubation period ranges from 1-14 days, with average of 5 days. People are passing it on before they even know they have it

I wouldnt be suprised if clubs were privately testing players/staff for it

Yeah if I had no choice. But some quickly got together injection, not sure I'd want that put into me, let alone my toddler

There's a massive festival in valencia next weekend. People come from everywhere to see the fires. No doubt from my town 2 hours away. Exactly the sort of thing that would bring the virus to our tiny town

Sports authorities and broadcasters have been summoned by the government for discussions on coronavirus contingency plans - as the Premier League considers banning over 70s at matches.
Disgraceful

I heard that the Premier League are looking at banning the over 70's from upcoming games.

@Joey66 thoughts?
That's great as I am only 65 years young - if my health will hold before we move to our new ground will try my hardest to get there, fitting for me as my late father was born in Vauxhall road just off Scottie road, evidently not far from BM dock ....
