Declare the season Null and void. No winners, not losers. Start again next season when all this virus nonsense will hopefully behind us
They should cut their salaries and give them to hospitals...do something right in life...
Even if it is for last years flu...I have mine every year thoughInfluenza would be as serious, and as widely reported, if there was no annual vaccine available.
Too sensible that. We have to wait until there's mass casualties.Football, rugby, all outdoor mass gathering sports and indoor sports.
TV can still show games
Review The Euros and Olympics in May.
Edit; it'll probably be a case of too little too late
Just on this, if influenza was reported on in the same manner as coronavirus is currently being, no one would leave home.
Imagine Liverpool winning the league with no fans at anfield
superb
sort it out Boris
Rather than just screenshotting a social media image without any of the sources used, here's that but in full:
The bit in bold is my preferred optionSurely they HAVE to play out the entirety of the rest of the season behind closed doors, or they cancel everything, no relegation/champions in any league and restart next season. They cannot just award champions/promotions/relegation based on where things are at now or in 3 weeks time, that's grossly unfair.
The rs will be champions though. That will absolutely be made to happen even if the season ends early. The cringey FKW biffs.
They've just sent an email out about the precautions ahead of the Derby.
Everton Football Club takes supporter safety and its duty of care to anyone attending a fixture or event at Goodison Park very seriously. Therefore, we are closely monitoring the development of the current coronavirus, or Covid-19 outbreak.
Ahead of the Merseyside derby on Monday 16 March, we would like to remind all supporters of their own duty of care and to help prevent the spread of the virus.
England’s Chief Medical Officer raised the risk of the virus to the public from low to moderate. The Club is committed to stopping the spread of the virus and as a result we are taking positive steps to reduce any risk to anyone attending or working at the game. Club officials have already taken measures to educate staff on best practices to prevent the virus spreading, spotting symptoms and other general guidance.
If you are planning to attend the match and have travelled to or from any of the below countries or regions in the last month or if you are experiencing cold and flu symptoms; particularly a cough, high temperature or shortness of breath, please carefully consider your plans to attend the match and the impact your attendance could have on others.
If you have any concerns, think you have symptoms of the coronavirus or believe you may have been exposed to the virus when travelling, please seek medical advice from the NHS helpline on 111 (from the UK) or click here.
