First competitive game for about 5/6 years today. Only went and hurt my knee, proper Michael Owen style, all on my own, tried to change direction and heard a pop and a load of pain down either side of my knee 
Managed to hobble off the pitch myself, so hopefully I won't be out too long!

Lost 4-1- we were awful. Two wingers bottled it and we had nothing up front due to injury. Ref didn't help like, our right back got sent off 15 minutes in for a last man foul that was basically their forward running into him from behind.
Won last week, though, and we will again tomorrow.

In our tenth game of the season, Llandegfan Antelope FC (former Sunday league pub team) lost for the fourth time this season to table toppers Menai Bridge.
First goal was to Menai Bridge from a freekick just outside the box. Soft freekick to give away but none the less, their player shot low to the bottom right corner and the keeper could only get finger tips.
The next two Menai Bridge goals were identical. Ball over the top, low cross across the box and a simple tap in. Both defenders errors, trying to play the offside trap but with no real organisation.
Second half we went for it, had nothing to lose. Our striker was played through after a minute of the second half and he made no mistake and rounded the keeper. The rest of the second half was wave after wave of attack on their defence which resulted in hitting the post twice and two sitters being missed.
We were awarded a penalty for hand ball in the box. An easy save from a poor, tame shot.
The final whistle arrived and the 3-1 loss felt harsh after easily bossing the second half. Still fourth in the league with two of the bottom teams to play in the coming weeks.

starting in goal tonight for the first time. Only time I have been in goal was either on FIFA (be a pro mode) or playing knockouts with the lads in the park.
I blagged to this team that I played at quite a decent level in goal when I was in fact a Left back. woops.
Oh well and yeah its an open age team so I'm going to have 40year olds blasting them at me, should have just done U20!

Game abandoned before half time due to their players repeatedly threatening the ref. 2-1 up at the time and they had 10 men, no sign of what's happening on the website.

Good Solid 5-2 Cup Win this Morning for u11's, my lad scored a Brace, 1st was from edge of the box
& 1 of those pea roller slow mo ones that see's the keepers boots turn to lead as he's rooted to the spot. His 2nd he picked it up in the centre circle, dribbled past a couple and lashed it home from 10 yds outside the box, over the keeper and dipping under the bar.
