Yer ma's favorite ITK. Mmmmmm Juicy.
5/10
Middle of the road transfer window.
Outgoings -
Distin - Way past it, could quite clearly see his legs were going much needed wage off the wage bill
Alcaraz - Was never going to cut it here, bambi on ice, typical Wigan player.
Long - Quite bemused by this one, looked like the kid could play. In my opinion offers far more than McAleny.
Incomings -
Cleverley - What's not to like? Free transfer, looks to be a good player for us. Shame he's now injured but a good signing regardless.
Deulofeu - We all know what the lad can do even if frustrating at times, £4.2 million (although with the standard Barca buy back clause) is good business.
Ramiro Funes Mori - Major questions marks over the player, especially for the 9.5 million price tag Everton have paid, could prove very costly for the club if he doesn't live up to the price payed.
Leandro Rodriguez - Unknown player, £500k paid. Could be ok, could be crap only time will tell. Meh!
David Henen - Personally speaking having watched the kid play last year on loan, could prove to be one of this windows best signings for ~£500k. Very classy winger in the making. (That and the way he was brought in through snide tactics from Everton), in my opinion he will make a couple of senior appearances this season.
Mason Holgate (Aka Rizzle Kicks) - If he progresses anywhere close to what Stones has then we'll have a decent player on our hands. For £1 million and going to be nowhere near the 1st team for at least a season it's all a bit MEH!
Positions we're still short in after the window has closed -
Number 10 (Attacking midfield for you old beauts) - Main priority that didn't get fulfilled.
Experienced Centre half (Centre back for you fifa nerds) - Funes Mori won't fill this in my opinion (I will how ever give him my backing in a blue shirt)
Striker - If lukaku get's injured we are in massive trouble.
Goalkeeper - Even if not mentioned by Mr 'Phenomenal' Martinez is a major worry, with Howards star jumps and Joel being scared of the ball we are in a mess here.
