Failed to sign the creative addition we needed so 0 for that but a strong 10 for retaining key players and new contracts.
Delefeuo, Clev, Lennon and the South Americans can only really be judged after six months to a year at least but my initial impression of those signings is about a 6.

Overall I voted with what I feel is a generous 6.

I think overall we have ended the window stronger than we were before it so you have to be relatively happy. The fact we were so close to signing yarmelenko and martinez openly stating we were looking to fill the number 10 position but failing to manage to has left people seeing our business as worse than it really is.i actually see it as a compliment to the players we have that martinez has not panic bought or gambled big on a number 10.hes basically saying yes yarmelenko is good enough for us but basically nobody else available is good enough so we will cope with what we have til Yarm or somebody else good enough becomes avail.hopefully January. All our buys have been very good deals and we have kept all our good players.8/10 for me and confident barkley and rom can step up to the mark with an array of different style wingers around them.

Surprised I'm among the most satisfied half of posters on here. Rated it 6/10. Numbers wise we've improved. Quality, I'm not so sure.

The biggest issue is obviously the lack of 'no.10', and also arguably a striker. Either the board have failed to back Martinez or Roberto himself has made a mistake. I'm not convinced either way, and to be honest, my thinking goes along the line of both being to blame. Stones- I wanted him originally, when he put his request in I wanted him gone straight away, and now I'm not too fussed. Still, I liked how Martinez handled it, despite the delay in communication from anyone else within the club.

For me, yet another case of so close, but so far. A lack of ambition continues to dog us, and under the current regime we are going nowhere bar 6th- 17th, barring a miracle. Even if that miracle is achieved, we won't advance.

Pressure needs to be put on the board massively to find investment/ new owners, and Roberto should get until Christmas. Still 50/50 on him, want him to do well, but fear our lack of creativity will cost us again, with a lightweight looking defence.

Went for a seven myself. Pity we couldn't get the elusive playmaker in but when you see the ridiculous money some team's have spent on really mediocre players I'm happy enough. Keeping Stones is massive for us. I honestly believe if we had lost him we could have been in for a relegation scrap.

If we were offered £8m for Naismith, could we not have added that to whatever we were willing to pay for Yarmolenko? Tested them with a late £23m bid. Or is that all a bit FM?
Makes sense in my head.

From what I've read, it would have made no difference. The kiev chairman would rather keep him and get out of the CL group stage.

6/10.

As many have mentioned, I reckon it could have been much better had we gotten this number 10 Roberto kept going on about. Positive signings though in Cleverley and Geri.. and Lennon coming back wasn't that much of a surprise, though I will take it as a positive one. I'm very interested in how Mori and Rodriguez will do if they're given a chance. Maybe other than Rom signing last season, I do think this window was better than the last.

Actually excited about mori. Argentinian defenders are normally quite passionate even if not the best. Plus he speaks good English which is a big plus.

Missed a trick with the playmaker malarkey though. Even a loan of someonew would of been fine.

I'm pleased, yeah a no 10 would be nice, but I'm pleased we didn't do it for the sake of it and get some mercanary who does it one game in five with a Brazilian sounding Name. Hopefully we will fill that spot eventually with someone we actually want

Reflecting On the window I'm pleased with Del and Lennon - we're better with both. If the manager rates Henen and Holgate, I'm pleased with that, it's good to have that philosphey at the club of developing our own players, its a quality being lost in the PL. Cleverley is a good steady signing, who may turn out to be an exceptional player, given trust and a foundation to play - his best is ahead. Mori I know little about, have some concerns, but will give the lad a chance, he has to be good now for 10mill, similar on the Uraguay lad.

To be frank I don't think we are desperate for signings, the team that were competitive for the CL is still here and looks like some players: Barkley, Lukaku, Coleman have regained form. Others have started well: Kone and one or two others, so we didn't need much IMO.

The bad, I think our squad is a ridiculous size for our needs, likely be carrying a lot of dead weight and non playing players as a result, I don't like that. Secondly I think the club are of their rocker not selling Naismith for 8 million, I like Naismith he's a good honest pro, a trier - he's not an 8mill pound player, we should have bitten their hands of what a deal that was for us. Similarly with McGeady.

The club I think has done well, 9 million for Del and Lennon is absolutley top buisness, Cleverley on a free Shrewd. They were prepared to back the manager with Yarmelnko. Holding fast on Stones really is fantastic - I'm really proud of that moral and value based stand by the club and Martiez management of the player. To be honest we didn't need much, no 10 is a disappointment but glad we didn't do it for the sake of it, I think Barkley is/will be better then anything we realistically could have bought after the Stones deal was lingering. How we didn't sell Naismith for 8 mill though, madness.

Overall I think we are nicely poised in Jan/next summer.

9/10 - we kept hold of Naismith despite a derisory and insulting bid, Kenwright was apparently inspirational in convincing him to stay. We also signed a good prospect in Aaron Lennon, he is one for the future. The only downside was that we couldn't push the Stones transfer through, but we can't have it all.
