Post Mortem? Problems? Crisis?

I thought this was a happy web site, and it is, apart from Ghost's constant sniping at toffeweb.

Get over it ghost.

Everton rock, GOT rocks... lets be happy with that

I'm over it, your missing my point. I'm angling for something better than Toffee Web and I think we have the people here to do it. Plus we have some budding journalists here like Welton who I know would love the chance to be Citizen Kane. :)

Tell you what, I'll build a site and as long as you all provide at least 3 feature length articles a day you can go into the hat for £250 prize money each week. I've taken tips from Blue Peter on how to conduct such a draw so Robin will win each month.

Ahem, are you muscling in on my skills as a web developer. ;)

Funny you should say that. I am listening to The Godfather Trilogy soundtrack and I feel like sending Luca Brasi to Toffee Web HQ to make them an offer they can't refuse. ;)

Tell me guys, has the Oldham result made you feel that Moyes isn't the man for the job.

Does it make you feel that we have a crisis and that Moyes desperately needs players to bolster his squad.

As one guy on TW has said - "We are deluded if we think we can win games even in Oldhams division". Is that correct?

I know ToffeeWeb is a site really to be avoided if we don't want to read negative thoughts, but they do have a following, and are putting a message out there which I think is very wrong.

I got emails this morning from Kendrick and Lyndon, because basically I have complained that they are encouraging an unhealthy and un-justified wave of attack on the club. Kendrick was his usual - don't go there then, but that's not the point.

Lyndon was also defending saying that Radio Merseyside and Blue Kipper have had similar opinions. I doubt they would be as vocal as Toffee Web has been in their attack on the club.

Ghost you have a strange obsession with this lad. You never stop speaking about him!! An toffeeweb, To you everyone is a toffeewebber if you dont like the post.

Remember this is Grand Old Team not Toffeeweb. I know we are there forum from their link but........this is a different site, different atatude.

Please read the rest of what I have been posting please.

Iv gone right through the thread an i understand werer your going, but the fact still stands that your always going on about toffeeweb an kendrik (who ever that beaut is)

An now you want to make a better site, why?? Just to be better than him??
To get one over him?? whats going on between you two??

Plus you always go on about being positive, looking forward, being upbeat. An in the same breath you then go on about TW an everything in it. An bring its negetivity to this boad!!

Just forget it.

Forget the fact that Ghost mentions Toffeeweb, he's on about putting some positive vibes out there on the web about our club. There aren't many sites that a football fan can go on that reflects truly on our club.

Everton is moving in the right direction, yet there are a couple of sites that only ever talk about how [Poor language removed] we are. How moving to Kirkby will destroy our club and not to mention the "moyes out!" crew.

If sites such as TW recognised the fact that the club is actually doing alright and that the end is not nigh then perhaps I'd contribute to those sites but at the moment you can't go anywhere apart from here and post anything positive about our club as its not the "in" thing to do.

I'd love to actually goto a website that praises the club when its doing well, I want to read about how the stadium move is the best thing for the club. I want to know that the club I support is not going bankrupt or is in dire straits. I also don't mind reading critisms of the club based on well thought out facts from someone that is willing to argue a case for themselves instead of just deleting posts and brushing the positivity under the carpet.

It's not about TW, its about showing the other side of the coin when others refuse too acknowledge it.

WOOO 1000th post :D

agreed. I sometimes wonder if this forum is about Everton or [Poor language removed]' toffeeweb.

anyone reckon the blues can do it with only two midfielders vs chelski's millions? Essien is gone to the AC, so presumably they'll have to make do with Lampard, SWP, Ballack etc.

Just dont know what ghosts prioritys are........is it to make a great site with all the positives an somthing abit different. Or is it to try an beat toffeeweb an get one over Kendick......who he seems besotted with???

Hope its the 1st one an i'd try an help anyway i could.

Ok, first of all, I'm not a child - I'm not trying to get one over on some clown who isn't worth getting one over on. Its about bringing a positive light onto the club and doing something that people may well enjoy. I'm talking about a weekly or bi-monthly magazine with perhaps the odd breaking news section. It can be a front to this great forum.

There are two reasons why I talk about TW and that is a) this forum is fronted by it and b) its a constant negative on the club and I want to be part of something positive.

I am not warring with Kendrick, I am not trying to piss Leonbil off, although he clearly is pissed off with me. To those who know and understand what I am trying to do great, love to chat. Those who don't, then don't bother contributing.
