Possible squad for next season if the summer goes right for once?

outs
Anichebe 3m
Baxter 1.5m

ins:
Naismith free (done)
Pienaar 4m
Rodallega free
Pranjic free
Craig Gordan free
Donovan 4m

Totally unrealistic

The only thing unrealistic in that post is the fee for Donovan. Because of his age we are entitled to a fee for Baxter and £1.5m may be about right. Maybe Craig Gordon also, wont come and sit on the bench, will want first team, but nothing wrong with that post IMO.

don't think we'd get as much as £1.5 mill for baxter, although he'd be worth that sort of amount we are everton and absolutely terrible when it comes to selling. You think we'd fetch more for baxter than what we did for a proven goalscorer like yakubu? think cahill may be on his way to make up that sort of figure. Would like to see us get a good RM on loan, untill donovan arrives in jan, where we can eventually get him for free. If i'm right moyes will only pay a fee for him if baines is sold though. i'd like to see us get gordon as well, and get a small fee for mucha, but like said above, he's constantly injured so therefore whenever fit he'll want to be playing rather than stuck on the bench. Although IMO he's probably better than howard

howard
neville jagielka heitinga baines
donovan gibson fellaini pienaar
naismith
jelavic

subs,rodwell,osman,coleman,pranjic,rodellaga,distin,gordon.

personally dont think we'll sell him

changy we will have a bet that if baines goes like i said he will you say sorry to me so everyone can see the mistake you have made .if he stays i will leave this great site for good and i will say sorry on the way out .this is how sure i am its done and dusted mate

Efc simply cant afford to sign that many players even if they were all free, we dont have the money to pay for their wages.

We wont sell anichebe and wallace was more impressive at tranmere than baxter and how much did we get for him?

In order to sign about 6 players we would have to get rid of 6 players which are on a similar wage, or baines/ fellaini and a couple of squad players.

so far hahnemann, drenthe, straq, mcfadden, wallace, dier, forshaw and pienaar (maybe a few more youths) have all gone. That's 7 players wages from the end of the season that have gone and maybe a couple more to follow

Ok rough estimates but lets look at it this way

Naismith 25k £1.3m
Pienaar wages but we're going to have to pay a fee £4m suggested on here
Rodallega 20k £1.04m
Pranjic 25k??? £1.3m
Craig Gordan 20k £1.04m
Donovan £4m? fee + 35k £1.82m

Estimated hypothetical total = £14.5m

And that is based on one year contracts

Dier, foreshaw and wallace would not have been on more than £10k a week combined, mcfadden less than 20k Hahnemann less than £10k and i cant imagine straq being on much more than that either. The only player there which would have been on a comparable wage would be drenthe

I'm just going off rumours with this post to be fair and can see where your coming from but surely we can afford these players coming in with money such as television and getting to the semi final last season and also finishing 7th will have got us a bit more money than finishing where the ****e did

now would be a silly time to suggest we go for Berbatov who is available for around 5mill. Wages might be a small issue but if we get cahill off the books then it might be viable... So i wont mention it :)
