I work in Leicester and have heard exactly the same from my boss (Leicester STH) - he was apparently the most important (re)signing of the summer.

So this is great news - we'll hopefully get some top players as a result, and it will partially pipe down all the gobby plastic LCFC supporters that came out of the woodwork at the back end of last season.

By the way, if Leicester is anything to go by, no one is taking Everton's new found wealth seriously yet. I'm looking forward to the fume when we win the league!

He didn't discover them, he scouted them. You could probably say he 'discovered' Vardy, Kante and Mahrez.

Is it beyond the realms of possibility that the lack of movement in the window so far is due to this ongoing piece of recruitment?

Maybe, just maybe this position has taken up most of the boards time especially with Dominic King stating only yesterday that we now want the position filled "as a matter of urgency".

This fella is highly rated it seems so let's get him in this weekend, then next week get a crack on with delivering signings..
