Positive back down to earth moment

I'm still trying to undo the huge cringe I suffered at Kane and Deles celebration.

It's like something I'd do with mates when I was about 11.

That's the only positive I took out of today...the fact that it wasn't Everton players doing that...Definitely the most cringe-inducing thing I've ever seen on a football pitch...well, since Brett Angell naturally

we've still got 3 big away games to make a atatement. (utd, arsenal and that lot) This was the toughest one. We're probably nailed on for 7th but i wouldn't rule out a big away win in one of those three.

Losing by the odd goal in five isn't a terrible result. Spurs will beat most sides at home. I would have liked to see us going into the game with a bit more positive attitude but the result is what it is.
We are not a top four side at present, we are at least four players away from it. This should act as a reality check, we have moved forward but we are very much work in progress.

Where you one of them gullible supporters that thought we were going to finish top 6??
LOL.

See the 'We are better than Liverpool?' thread for how most fans currently think.

But you go ahead and try tarring everyone who thinks this thread is pointless with that brush mate x

If we do finish top 6 you'll look like a right mug......loads on here have made knee jerk proclamations and fall fat on their faces (i.e we wont sign anyone this window blah blah blah). This game shows that we are still behind the likes of spurs who have been on this project lark for 18 months more than us with a settled team it showed.

As koeman said were gonna need another window maybe two to be where we want to be...

What has league position got to do with an utter cowards performance
Cowards performance?? They just came up against a far superior team and set of individuals. As the point of my original post implies if moshiri et al are serious about us mixing it with the big boys they have to get serious this summer. 9 games unbeaten against also rans is all well and good but it can distort peoples thinking when the bigger picture is that while things are going in the right direction the project still has a way to go

I think I'll avoid that look come the end of the season
