So they can only prove something if they seize your computer and check what's on it?

In theory, then they have to prove its you using the equipment.

It's not feasible to think any one person can be held accountable.

Eu rules and the US state committee have already put into motion a law by stating an IP address can't be legally linked to a person.

They can prove a person accessed a site at a point in time, it's proving the kit which accessed the address which is the challenge.

This should have said, "prove an IP address has accessed a site etc, but provin the person on the end of the host address is difficult.
