a big majority on here does not always equate to a big majority of the fan base...Kenwright got hammered on here for years (with some really nasty sh1t) but yet got clapped everytime he appeared on the screen at goodison.

You are right......and I have pointed this out many times over the years.

However......GOT was proven to be ahead of the curve over Bobby and I think practically the whole fanbase is singing from the same hymn sheet over the managerial position.

And that hymn is being sung in praise of a much greater deity than Wee Davey

I think no. Not because he cant do better than Roberto, think he is too cautious to win anything other than the odd cup, which with a few quid he might. He is not the man to win a title. If we cant aim for that then there is no point turning up. Since the prem we have been making up the numbers. Top four is not good enough. Title has to be won, he wont do it with us. When he said we were holding back Baines career he believed it.
