With yet another away loss, I beg the question when was the last time we played to win?

Seems to me we play for the point, aim to play very little football and hope upon hope we somehow see the game out with the point.

At home we do because that is the bare minimum. That's what Sam is doing, bare minimum to keep us up so write off all away games this aeason because that is what you are getting, hope for a point and it's a bonus.

Come the next home game wouldn't surprise me to actually play well and get a good win.

It honestly seems to me that Allardyce is an absolute gambler, prays the other team misses their opportunities and expects his side to do the absolute bare minimum.

Also seems to me he will make the token effort to make it look like he’s done something to remedy the situation when we go down (eg. cancel the Schneiderlin sun today) but continue playing the same.

That’s the issue though, especially when we are away we don’t go in to take them. We go for the draw, and if you only play to draw you deserve to lose. Simple as that.
