That's greatone of the best personal wiki sections ever:
Limpar was the victim of TV hoax in 1997, where he was duped into believing that he had traveled two years into the future via a time machine.[citation needed] After retiring from football in 2001, Limpar opened a bar,The Limp Bar, in central Stockholm, although it has since closed.[9] In 2012 Limpar, together with colleague Mikael Crona, founded Swedish company Super Lock which produces plastic boxes. He currently is the CEO of betting site BestBetToday.com.[9]
Random question, did Ginola win the world cup? He was one of the best in the league at the time, did he get called up or play in his home finals?
IIRC He had the ball down by the corner flag on the dying seconds but instead of running down the clock he put on a rubbish cross, Bulgaria took it, ran down the other end and scored. Hee hee.Ginola got bombed out after costing them qualification for the 1994 World Cup, the manager blamed him for Bulgaria's winning goal in the final qualification match LOL !!
bit mad when you think about it. Sure the french team that year was immense but ginola was one of the best in the prem as well during that period. No, he played in the 1994 Qualifiers which France didnt make. They got beat towards the end of the campaign by Bulgaria (I think it was them) and Frances manager at the time, a certain Mr Houllier, blamed the whole defeat on Ginola.
After that they got a new manager (Jacquet I assume) and he played sporadically but was never the same for France and was done by 1996 for them.
