Players you DONT want us to sign

Both players had a decent reputation before we signed them, Arteta had a disappointing spell in Glasgow but was widely regarded as being a talented player and pienaar was part a former Ajax starlet so you have both wrong. These players we have signed are no marks, worthy of boro and not Everton

Both were sitting on a bench not involved in much football. Both of their careers were going nowere fast. Reputation or not i bet you wernt over the moon when they arrived. They'v both become important players for the club. Just because you havn't heard of some one, dont meen their [Poor language removed].

Who was Anelka or Viera when wenger first bought them. They became world stars.

Just give these lads a chance.

Castillo is the dog's bollocks. Equador weren't exactly [Poor language removed] at the world cup and he's supposedly a very influential player for them so he must be atleast half decent.

We've tried to sign Jacobsen before he went to Nurenburg so the difference is this time we've got him without spending a penny.

And Saha if fit is immense and he's left footed which would give us balance up top again....IF he stays fit.

Heard Castillo has little or no ability but apparently is an Animal so a few sending offs might happen for him

Carsley had little ability. If Castillo does the basics and works hard he'll do well here. I'm all for giving him a chance, if it doesn't work out it doesn't work out.

I was happy with Arteta as i knew he had skill, there was a question mark over whether he would handle the prem but he has. Pienaar, i had seen him for Ajax but had heard he had gone off the boil so wasnt sure about him.
Most importantly i had heard of them, unlike Castillo and Jacobsen

Spot on.

What have we got to lose. You have to give him a chance before saying he's [Poor language removed] an this an that.

If he turns out to not be good enough then send him back. But the lad needs to be given a good chance to prove himself.

I'm looking forward to seeing Saha I've got to admit. I think he's a class act to be honest, as good as Yakubu on his day.

He's a gamble but he's worth the gamble. He made 24 appearences last year so he's not as injury prone as people make out. As Moyes said if we get him out there 20 times a season he will contribute.

Victor Obinna is also a player I'm looking forward to seeing, I watched him in the Olympics and he looked very exciting and he's highly rated in Italy. Whether it's as an impact player as a starter I think his pace and skill would be very useful outwide, we've lacked pace outwide since Kanchelskis left.

Players I don't want to see here, Joe Ledley is a very good shout. I don't think he has any strengths to his game, similar to Kilbane in that respect. He'll give his all, he's got a decent left foot but he lacks the pace and skill to make it in England.

I also don't want to see Alan Smith here, I just don't rate him to be honest. A striker who doesn't score or a midfielder who can't tackle. Take your pick.

I dont want Alan Smith!

How can anyone even question the signing of Saha? The deal for him is brilliant. He is an incredible striker when fit and we're only paying for him when he is fit (from what I've read).

Not sure about Castillo but we have him and we'll see how he does.

The important words there nam!(y)
