players slipping

Is it just me or have a lot of our players slipped inexplicably on various ocaisions this season?

Are we wearing the right studs?

Excellent point.

McCarthy in particular has slipped on at least two critical occasions which cost us goals.

At Spurs he slipped and lost possession which led to the free kick from which they scored the winner.

And he slipped at Fulham to allow that bloke to shoot their equaliser.

For some reason, Michael Owen went into some depth on this, reckons the pitches were sand based and as a result were very hard. Stated that once watered, they were very slippy...
Obviously had nothing else to comment on.

Today , it was a joke, like bambi on ice.

I can remember 5 of our players slipping and no Southampton players.

Didn't McCarthy also slip crucially in the lead up to Arsenal's first goal in the FA Cup game?
