McCarthy always seems to slip on the edge of the penalty area, mcost us a goal against Fulham if I remember correctly. A lot of them we're slipping about today especially that Gallagher up front for them.

Today , it was a joke, like bambi on ice.

I can remember 5 of our players slipping and no Southampton players.

I think a couple of their lads did go over today to be fair, and we noticed the pitch was really cutting up. Still played pants though, and slip overs on the edge of the box have cost us a fair few goals, often at GP.

Over watered pitch yesterday. I was speaking to a Saints fan who said that it had rained heavily the day or night before and they then watered the pitch again before the match. Probably to stop us playing our skilful game.

They reason we do it at Goodison is because the drainage system we have is so good it pretty much seeps through and is gone, even when its raining we still have to do it.
At Anfield the groundsman is a City fan, thats why they do it.

hahaha, I think there are times though when the pitch is clearly over watered and players just falling over constantly
