Do we need better than Ellis Simms? Yes
Is Ellis Simms currently a better option than Maupay? Yes

We sent Simms on loan when DCL was fragile & we bought Maupay. It’s not a good reflection of our transfer strategy.

I watched the second half of the Sunderland game. Simms lead the line well, ran the channels, held the ball up, had an assist and a goal. So a good day at the Championship office for him

Wouldn't surprise me if we needed to shift someone out to save on wages. If we offered Rondon I don't think there would be any takers.
