Pienaar close to return news is arse. Skysports and a few papers spouting it. He's been close to a return for fkin weeks, the only news is when he signs ffs

As said below you mate we've been waiting on the Yobo money so most of the posts saying it'll be done Tuesday , Wednesday or whatever seem to have been less than accurate. However now the Yobo money is very close , almost imminent hence why this deal is close. Baring some complete disaster with Yobo which would mean somebody on either side reneging on current agreement (which we can all be pretty confident that wont occur) then that will happen imminently and when it does the payment for Yobo is the down payment for pienaar . In my belief that's why it pienaar is close

As somebody touched on.. We as a team miss pienaar more than Arteta due to are piss poor options out wide. Having said that the first half of last season arteta's presence was massively missed and were playing the poorest football Iv seen under moyes!

Arteta has been class for arsenal as he would be for us if he was pLaying now with say Gibson and fellaini just in front. Pienaar and Donovan/Naismith on the wings. Once pienaar left Arteta really had no options in front of him for passing... No wingers..no striker..and a finished Cahill...

There's no excuses for his corners/free kicks tho... They went absolutely pants!

Thanks Sheedy for all the updates. Was always interesting to follow your posts on Kipper and here appears to be no different.

cant beleive the yobo deal hasnt gone theough yet, fenerbache had him for 2 years now and still no deal
he is 32 in september we wont be able to shift him if he doesent go there

I think the blame can be allocated fairly evenly for it not happening with both sides blaming each other however as I understand this time it will go through

Apparently Fenerbeche are looking at Rolando from Porto instead of Yobo. Even though that transfer fee will be about 5 times as much.

Because of the pienaar deal i understand the concern but Im pretty confident that they aren't looking to anyone else instead . just been told its all but done maybe hours or even minutes away , not necessarily for announcement purposes but it'll be ok baring something bizarre which no one thinks will happen.

nice one, cheers for updates...do you know if we will be looking at bringing anyone else in, on loan even perhaps? looking at straq and drenthes departues i'd have thought there might be room on wage bill for at least a loan or two?
