Lot more to the whole thing and the delay over the last two years have been primarily due to Everton's stance on fee , a fee we've been nowhere near in that two years . The deal is all but done and if they were arguing over £500k a quarter of the fee then major issues would still need resolving , they don't

has your mate given you any indication on when it will be complete ? , i.e. is it just the medical now or a bit more talking to be done ?

Spoke to him briefly before , he's finished his part so it's just general admin and drawing up what needs to be done and a few 'minor bits' he said it could be 'done in minutes' . I can't see (because he can't see ) any issues , I think it'll be sorted fairly quickly , if it's not I'll find out what's gone wrong but there is a confidence that 'it's sorted'. We've waited two years so no real drama waiting now?

EDIT- when he says 'it could be done in minutes' I took that to mean that provided the minor points are agreed swiftly it'll be done rather than he's currently in the process of signing .
