I still think Everton can pull a big player out of the bag if funding is sufficient, fingers crossed, I have a feeling that there may be one in, prior to July and pre-season, but the rest will depend on selling the likes of your Rodwell's and Anichebe's and will happen later on.

Wouldn't it be great if for once we got our business done early. Don't get me wrong I understand that's going to be difficult with the financial constraints. But if we did say have the suggested 9/10 million, get it spent and done early. It's no coincidence we start slowly after what is normally a pretty negative, late dash for players summer. It rubs off on the whole club and us the fans.

I can't see Pienaar being done early, meaning that money (what ever the club deems to be the right price) will be kept in reserve?so are we then left to wait on other targets until we know if that deal is in bag? A few decent Bosmans are around so I'm optimistic we could get in one or two of those. Would just love us to go out a buy a decent player at a decent price early.

Could completly change the whole outlook of our summer, allowing the club, the players and us fans to feel alot more optimistic. You only need to look at our January business and our subsequent form to back that up.

What, in God's holy name, is going on.
Everton fc will have money to spend.
Everton fc's successful signings will cost LESS than previously thought.
Everton fc are considered as a guiding light (financially) by UEFA.
Everton fc are unlikely to have major outgoings this summer.
Everton fc may be trimming the squad of dead wood and replacing with decent footballers.

Just saying, compared with the news we usually get during your average everton close season, well, it's different. I'm an evertonian ffs, positivity and optimism don't come naturally. I appreciate it's early doors; I'm not saying it's not the case, it's just not what I'm used to at this stage in proceedings.
