We hated Pienaar's agent because he was one of the key parts of the Spurs deal, but his desire for money means that he is now a good thing for us.

Any of the other teams in the league can bid but as he is 30 and has 2.5 years left on his contract the offers won't be very high anyway, so Spurs then have to find a deal which both parties find acceptable.

We will probably make an offer around the 'ballpark', and Pienaar obviously wants to come to us, thus we're current favourites.

As always there's the possibility that something mad could happen, but as it stands he'll be ours come next season.
