We've already tabled an offer which should be acceptable, and Pienaar obviously wants to come to us, thus we're current favourites.

As always there's the possibility that something mad could happen, but as it stands he'll be ours come next season.

Didn't it mean WHEN/IF we match their valuation, we will be firm faves?
 

I think people are being silly here now. Lcab says stevie p should sign, that's good enough for me

A combination of Fox and LCAB's info, if I've got it right is that we don't have what Spurs want, therefore, they would normally reject our offer and sell to the highest bidder e.g. QPR but Pienaar and his agent want him here so as long as they make a fuss and reject moves to other clubs i.e. drag their heels and push for a move to Everton, Spurs will accept "buttons" for Pienaar.

Prolly near as damn it DOUBLE what they paid .. But its STILL uny £4-5 M tops ..

TBH i wish this thread would be locked as it all really is just pointless speculation. It's not even like a typical transfer rumour because anybody who spends 5 minutes reading up would know exactly what the situation is.

We want him, he wants us, Spurs want to lower the wage bill. Simple as that.

LCAB is there any news on distin? said in that article where we are linked with huth (lol) that distin wasn't willing to sign a contract, obviously it was daily mail so will take no notice of it, but really think he deserves at least a one year deal, if not 2
