Can only go on what ive heard on another forum but someone who works within Tottenham Hotspur FC who's on there says it's as good as a done deal.

When it comes to Spurs news he's always bang on and predictated Pienaar's move back in december and got stick for it through out january when it hadnt happened but then it did at the last minute and said then that it's as good as a done deal in the summer.

Only thing that was off putting by what he said is that were getting him for 5-6 million. Do we really have that much to spend on Pienaar alone, as much as we really need him?!.

That seems pretty steep, but he works well. I think if Baines goes, though, Pienaar's effectiveness goes down. I guess we'd play the young LBs a lot, and Pienaar wouldn't be quite as integral as when Baines is there with him.

Thanks for the info LCAB, im slightly optimistic about the summer now (aside from the Dempsey interest as he is getting on, there's no re-sale value an is very similar to Cahill). I'd like to see pace and width added.

The one thing that's nagging in the back of my mind in the face of the pleasant optimism, is that fox has, on several occasions, hinted at some sort of major falling out behind the scenes, presumably between DM and BK, and that it's going to go off in the summer. I seriously hope this doesn't scupper any transfer plans, Pienaar in particular. The sh!te, we are not.

I'm with you there, and I'm a fence sitter when it comes to BK, so it's no hate thing, just worries me that them two are going to go past breaking point one of these days - 'specially when one of the few who we trust hints that all ain't rosy.
