No word of a lie, me and a mate just met the lid himself outside tso's in town on the way back from programme selling. Miserable get like but had to welcome him home myself, surreal!!! No pic unfortunately, he jumped in a taxi a few secs after ffs ah well, my day has been made!

Coleman is our great white hope for RB, sure enough. Hibbert and Neville are just too limited for first choice, as good a pair of servants as they've been but I'd be reluctant to buy anyone else until young Seamus has had a proper run out there. I still think he's got enough. And an attacking right back like him will make any wide player who likes to cut inside look ten times better when playing in front of him.

Though, I agree that Osman has proved beyond all doubt that he's just not a winger and that the Rm is our big problem position. If we want to do well either one of our many other players who aren't right wingers but have been asked play there like Barkley, Rodwell, Gueye or Naismith makes that position their own or we buy someone in, Donovan seems to be the main choice there but I dunno, I think I'd rather see that money spent on a back up for Baines if I'm honest. We'd be up **** creek if he injures himself.

I don't think left back is a priority to be honest. After Baines there is Distin and Neville that could fill in there in the short term, and Garbutt in the long term. If we could just get one more player, it would have to be a right winger for me. But then Naismith might be the one??!

Laughing at all the tweets from certain RS fans and even on the Mirror's twitter feed, sneering at us for 'losing £1.5m' on Pienaar.

The idea that any RS fan would even have the brass neck to display such cheek is hysterical, given the s***loads of money they lost on Cisse (a loss of £8m), Diouf (a loss of £7m), Aquilani (a supposed loss of £13m), and not to mention the much rumoured loaning out of £35m Carroll.

Many deludes really are the worst kind of brain-dead morons, lacking complete self-awareness and knowledge of their own club's history.

He did not want to sign long-term...

we needed the money... got 3 million...

Spurs paid his wages approx 70k a week for 12 months = 3 million plus....

their outlay 6 million +

we got him back for 4.5 million... (saved 12 months on wages)

who won, who lost?

It's all in the way you want to look at it...

bottom line

he is a brilliant player for us....!!!

So, we WIN...

Cheers!

Not to mention compensation paid to FSW and Queen Kenny !!!!!!!!!!

I don't care what anyone says, he could have set on the Spurs bench for a few years earning a bucket more money, he has come back to a club with fans who appreciate that kind of emotion, and will cheer his name for a very long time, we have bought him for buttons, again - he will repay it over, and over again.
