Pienaar

I agree with this - Pienaar when he initially signed only wanted to sign a 3 year contract (contrast that with Kompany who has just signed a 6 year deal) which says to me that he has always wanted to keep his options open. Looking back on his career shows that it wasnt a one off. I dont think money was as big an issue as the chance to play in the champions league
I looked at his previous spell positively almost like a 4 year loan deal

We need to ignore what has happened previously but just focus on signing an excellent player for us for £4m

Well, I would look at it that way that he was on a year long loan at Spurs.. And he will now retire as an Everton player, hopefully. b)

To repeat, I need more than Pienaar and Naismith before I'm happy.

According to reports in Greece, weve made a bid in the region of 400k Euros for Giorgos Katidis, a young attacking midfielder that weve had on trial twice, back in Febuary and as recent as when we got back from Austria.

Supposed to be on twitter aswell from @paltoglou.

He turned down Chelsea due to wages.

Whatever his motives, we play better with him. He's realised he's better off with us (see end of season footage) so wages, whatever, let's get him.

Now that he's signing again can we have the nickname 'Peanuts' put in the swear filter or outlawed or something?!

It's a ridiculous nickname.
