Levy is the chairman that non fans of Spurs absolutely hate, but if he was our chairman id ****in' love him.
Knows what he is doing for one. Knows how to deal with transfers. Levy is the man who got £18m off Stoke for Crouch and Pallacios.

And £30mil for a 27 year old forcing his way out the club.

Just a bit of a poor track record with managers is his only flaw

This is all on Spurs. Levy is being a bellend. He has it in for BK and Moyes. It's embarrassing to him that he bought SP, who did nothing and never played, then goes back to Everton and tears it up, and clearly there's a bond between SP and EFC. So now he's trying to up the ante by saying "QPR are in for him, you better pay up". Well FUK OFF. The lad doesn't want to go to QPR, he doesn't want to stay at Spurs, and everyone in the world KNOWS THIS.

He's pissing up a rope. SP's agent may be trying to shop him around, but the lad wants to be here.

i wouldn't be too pissed off if i were levy anyway. he's doubling what he paid for a player who has barely played 10 mins for them. they only bought him as a backup IMO anyway, if they would have sold bale, they would have used money on a player that would have still gone ahead of pienaar in the pecking order. it's a good bit of business (maybe not as good as he was hoping), but it is something i would like us to see do more often, buying players on the cheap, with no real intention to improve us as a team, but more from a financial perspective.

Just heard from a very reliable source, "There has been no contact at all to Steven's agent from either QPR or Sunderland, the deal with Everton is not dead as there are a few terms not being agreed on, Everton is still Steven's prefered choice"

according to AVB the deal will be done when Tottenham return from the states

Not sure how it's good business. He's on 70k a week (3.5m a year) & been there a season & a half.
But your right would be nice to get a few high risk players purely to on sell.

he spent half the season with us. but yeah, thats what i mean he would have been hoping for a better fee, i.e. why he's probs trying to squeeze out every last penny. and he would have made a better profit had pienaar not wanted to come home so desperately and been signed for a manager who didn't rate him
