Pienaar

A boss five a side player but he done step overs and had dreads so he's idolised by The Stepover Trinity on here.

A greedy sh*thouse who took the piss out of fans and I never want to see in royal blue again.

Plus any player who blatantly let's his contract run down in order to get himself a move and a stack full of money over a club who
Reignited his dwindling career is a bit of a **** bag to me! Not to mention his constant comments about he wanted to stay in that time.

At least Rooney brought the club a stack of money in

I'll miss him less once Drenthe gets more than 30 minutes on the pitch. Have a sneaky suspicion he'll add more to our game. Also seems more physical than Pienaar, and a smidge more creative.

This is based on nothing but my own eyeballs.

You have a good set of eyeballs. I totally agree.

How any Everton fan can say we don't miss Pienarr is just ludicrous, him and Arteta where the reason i used to look forward too going the game, I think the other way round to people above ^ regarding Baines , I don't think Leighton is the same player without the little South African , he had a proper footballing brain , kept the ball when it needed to be kept and played in Baines every single time the pass was on , I for one miss him and Mikel big time , is he as good as a Luka Modric ?? definitely not , is he good enough for our midfield definitely , sadly our chairman's not big enough to keep real class players like Steven and Mikel and it's only a matter of time before young Ross who's on the same wave length as them is also moved on , but he's a blue so we'll back him hey :-(

Yes we miss the Mikel Arteta of several years ago....however he wasnt looking too cleaver last season.

Pienaar is good but zero end product.....

I'm quite confident IF the money from the last 12months sales was ALL given to Moyes we would be looking at an upgrade on these two. However as it is we dont have any money so people are moaning about players leaving....

Fellaini/Barkley/Rodwell in midfield should be the future.....

Aside from good link up with Beans, the one thing we miss from Pienaar is tempo.

He'd always make our midfield play quicker and more incisive, especially when he was in the centre, I always thought anyway.

The scary voice, drink-drive charges, woeful crossing, dodgy "God is Great" vest, terrible shooting, bad defensive positioning and awful final balls we don't miss.

1, Even with the money we'd struggle to attract an upgrade from Arteta and Pienarr because where not in Europe , that's the reason those two left , well atleast one of them for sure because Arteta took a pay cut

2, Ross Barkley's not the future because you would have to be living on another planet to believe he'll still be here in 18 months and at present doesn't even make the 18.

3, Even the not so clever Arteta is streets better than Rodwell and only the sour grapes in people that he's now gone would think otherwise , I can honestly count on 1 hand the amount of times I thought Jack Rodwell even contributed in a game never mind played well , I wouldn't have him anywhere near our starting 11 , even when Arteta was quiet he's capable of one bit of quality which affects the team , at worst even scoring penalties , where as I don't see Jack Rodwell's worthy points, he just ghosts through games playing 5 yard sideways passes and running round casually

I was just thinking this morning, he'd be a god send for us right now.

Pienaar has been my favourite moyes signing, Tim Cahill aside.

Gutted when he left, as I knew others would follow, like Jags and Baines will eventually.

Deffo spot on there Xavi lad. Bainesy, this year, is like the parrot pinin' for the fiords.

No chemistry at all down the left since the godly one went to the yids.

Right up there with Baines'y I'd have to go with that too
