Pienaar

M'Bia was saying he had Barca, Chelsea and Real all interested in him when they clearly werent to try and get a rise out of the club.

I'm all for players wanting to get more money, but because we werent "that" interested in him, he turned around and gave the old "well, better clubs are after me blah blah" spiel.

And this all came from him, not an agent etc, from the horses mouth....then stayed at Rennes when no one was interested saying "I love Rennes, why would I leave" or some respects.

Pienaar just says he'd like to play in La Liga and Champions League footy. He's got a 10mill price tag so get in line.

Well spotted, KB. They are two completely different situations.

This is one is dead simple . Give him a rise and get him to put pen to paper as soon as possible . For me he was our best player in the season just gone .

Poor old Mbia had to feed his whole family in Cameroon of a 'measly' 10.000 GBP a week. Don't know of course how big his family is, but can't help to think that money would go a long way to keep them all on bread and water.:dodgy:

Of course every player wants more money out a move, but to suggest 10.000 GBP a week isn't enough to keep his family alive and well back in Cameroon is just laughable.

Good news if true.

Atleast if someone does come in for him we'll be able to get a good price and stop other clubs messing us about.

Oh and Pienaar would be fantastic in Spain, I can see why he'd want to play there.:D

I can see La Liga being a force again soon. They have fallen behind England a little recently, but with the strong Euro, the weak pound and the crippling UK Tax Laws a max exodus to Spain is on the cards.

And we will be powerhouses once again. And then when they all start coming back we will have rich barstards takeover us as we arethebest team.
hopefully the exodus only lasts half a year tho, LOL

Not to mention the new FIFA laws coming into play more and more.

The Pieman is anti-offskis:

"It's not been a bad year, has it? I'm just enjoying every moment of it now. First the FA Cup Final, now the semi-final here, it's just amazing. It's something good.

"Playing against teams like Brazil and Spain is only going to make you a better player and I want to show the Everton fans that when I get back. I still have two years left on my contract and I'm happy so there's no need for people to worry. I'm staying."

yay! I can't wait to see him alongside Arteta! And I can't wait to see Arteta alongside Rodwell! And I can't wait to see Fellaini on the bench!

Roll on next season!
