Pienaar to return?

5 million pounds and a loss on what we sold????

No effing way.

Not smart business, period. Sorry peanuts.

We need a CAM. Don't know where we're going to get him.

So Carlos Tevez is suddenly worth pish?

I don't think £5m is full whack. I think it's probably about right when you consider he's had a bad year, but also that he's on a proper contract now, not 6 months away from being a freebie.

Tevez is a unique one.

He's not worth pish but he's not worth what he would be had he been playing the last 6 or so months.

It's all opinions, but £5m is too much for a player who has done nothing recently in my eyes at least.

I'm sure some teams will pay it though.

Let me introduce you to Darren Gibson.

*cries

He's proven though mate. And it's not like he's been in bad form, he's just not been able to force his way into a midfield containing players like VDV, Bale and Modric.

The big difference though is that Pienaar wants to come back here by all accounts. In these days of player power that could yet be a mitigating factor.

I'd like him back but if not at that price. If Spurs are happy for him to be costing them £3mill + a year to sit on the bench/at home then so be it.

I heard that a few of our fans chanted " greedy [Poor language removed] " towards him last night. Now that's a disgrace, it really is. He worked his ass off for us...he worked even harder than arteta.

looks like the 2 chairman have had a falling out ,the loan deal is off its £5mill or no deal ,pienaar is hell bent on getting back here, looks like it wont happen now, jags told a mate of mine on saturday that it was back on, it wont happen now £5 mill ffs, before any one starts i dont blame kenwright for this £5mill fooken hell

To be honest, I also think it was done by Spurs in an attempt to weaken us.

It was one less competitor for the 4th spot as far as they were concerned with us weakened. So win win.

However, after yesterdays' shenanigans and Kentight going back on his promises of giving the manager money to replace players

As far as this EFC board go, they can stuff it if they think I'd ever trust a word out of their mouths.

Or accept anything they say on face value.

The manager needs resources to allow us to compete and under this EFC board we won't get it. Or the infrastructure to get it either.
