It just gets repetitive repetitive repetitive repetitive repetitive repetitive ...............It´s like having a car without an engine. It´s not working .You can discuss it as many times as you like but it always comes back to the same thing that you already know .It won´t work without and engine .Once you´ve established the fact that there is no engine 1000000000000000000000000 times. Whats the point? When we already know.It gets a bit repetitive repetitive repetitive repetitive repetitive repetitive .........................

So you saying we've got no engine mate?

MOYES OUT!

An Engine needs fuel mate. Just as Chico needs popcorn.

TITS OUT!

Chico runs on a hybrid combination of animal porn, homosexual innuendos and melted down popcorn. And with an increasing demand for supply being generated from within the Grandoldteam forum, the barrel price of BUM Fuel is set to rise steadily!

Back on topic.

“For the team, we are not far off first place in the Premier League so I think we’ve got a good chance to go all the way and win a trophy this season.”

See, this annoys me. It's smacks of "I'd sign for United on the last day of the season if it meant I could win the league....or a trophy...".

Makes him look silly to me.

Agreed..They will not win the title and he will be found out in that team...

I'm not having a go at Pienaar, but I just think saying something like "Tottenham have a good team, I hope I can play well for them and help them go even further in the Champions League...and try and win a trophy...", is much better.

Maybe i'm just being picky though...

As long as deathbyropeandglass agrees with it. It's the law!

After seeing his twitter im happy for Pienaar, and havnt really blamed him what so ever during the past few months for wanting to leave...but it leaves me with a question...

...Why do i like pienaar, but hate lescott? And at the time when lescott was leaving, was willing to boo him on his final match? I really dont get it, because the situations are basically the same, both left for more money, both refused to play their last match, if anything lescott was more helpful in getting us more money by not waiting out his contract...

...just wondering why there is such a difference

I know Evertonians love to convince themselves that was the main reason these players left, but it really wasn't. The teams they joined simply offered a far better package as a whole. More money, more ambition and a more realistic chance at winning trophies/getting Champions League football. I know it hurts, and we try to mask our problems by passing the players off as greedy, but it's the truth really. Joleon Lescott left us because he saw a far more ambitious club in Manchester City.

As for the difference, Moyes clearly had a real problem with Lescott's attitude during the whole thing, and that wasn't the case with Pienaar, who was professional and got on with things until we accepted a bid. He also didn't hand in a transfer request, something Lescott did, which basically forced the move. We've known about Pienaar's situation for ages, it was down to Moyes/Kenwright to figure out when the time was right to sell him. Pienaar basically saw out his contract, and he's entitled to do so.
