I don't take the corporate shafting?
Think of the income as a blessing in these shitty times mate.
Idealism goes out the window when you've got bills to pay, as I'm sure you're very aware.

my laptop has a dodgy power lead and it works itself loose, then i have about a minute to get it on mains again before it hibernates. laptop batteries are a lot more expensive than phone batteries though.
i'm paying 35 with orange but i dont even use a 1/4 of my mins, i get 900 x-network 600 texts and unlimited landlines, with insurance and extra call charges i pay about 45. they offered me the same plan for about £18 but it's the signal thats the issue. i reckon i lose work due to it every week so if it was 1 job a week then i could pay £200 a month and still be better off than i have been, reckon i could have a sat phone for that or one of those Rado jobbies.

i'm in full bill trimming mode at the mo, and coupled with my car loan finishing i reckon i can be £300 a month better off, of course the trimming of my advertising could have an adverse effect.
Yeah well I need my iPhone as it's my office away from the office.
Of course - good news is my car HP finishes in March, so that's another £160 saved. Financially i'm ok, as long as I don't tell Jo what's in the bank.
I also have a deal with a lead generator in the area who provides me 200 new businesses setup within a certain radius, so I have opportunities to gain new business. So hoping this year's going to be busy and fruitful.
does anyone know what happens if I just don't get another contract. It was up for renewal in Jan 23rd.

Unless you re-negotiated your terms I presume your monthly contract would just continue to roll. Or you could go an buy a pay as you go sim and use that.
But, being the bad sales vultures they are, there's no way you wouldnt receive a call before the end of your contract offering something shiny and new.
i dont think you can put a pay as you go through your books if self employed
you just carry on as you are without being tied in, then they will probably offer you a discount to sign up again.
well i'm just thinking of just waiting until my car is paid up and then go for the upgrade then.
i can read that code....
i'm not upgrading yet as i fancy a new motor, probably a range rover sport or one of those audi's (it's just i've not told the mrs)
