I'm not in the know by any means but I know someone at finch farm who gives me little snippets of info every so often and the latest he's told me is that jags had an argument with Martinez which ended up with him storming out of training with half the first team going with him, this was at some point between the Derby and the cup semi

This exact story first popped up about 6 weeks ago, Then again about a fortnight ago and now it happened last week.

From this mornings press conference, Martinez says Jags could be out for the season with injury. For me it didn't feel like Martinez was telling the truth, more like the two have exchanged words and Martinez doesn't want Jags playing - like he's being punished for speaking up against the manager. Hopefully I'm reading too much into it..

Cant believe the jags comment tbh - saying he had no right to be fit and play. yet he basically lined it up the day before saying he was treating his feelings or some other [Poor language removed].

Exactly. So much respect for our Captain to come to Wembley injured and put his body on the line like he did. I know he's comes up against some stick on here for not being vocal enough in his captaincy, but what he did oozes blue class and I'm proud of Jags!!

hopefully you are right, as it means the guy gets to go to the euro's, probably his last chance to play in a tournament

I feel like Martinez meant it as praise/ testament to Jags' tenacity when he used the words 'had no right'... but he didn't exactly blow his trumpet even if you accept that for a moment. Well off - it was a magnificent moment for him to aggravate an existing injury and put his body on the line for the club.

I wonder if jags would hI'm self enjoy not being a captain and focus on what he does best..seems to have this image of another upson player to thoose outside of everton, he is clearly much bether class and one of the few players I could think of as a all time everton center back.
