Any club in the world offered 150m for Jordan Pickford would take it in a heartbeat. We need to stop being so precious about everything said about Everton. Jagielka was merely pointing out what we all know about football... it's a mad house.
If we got 100m for Jordan and could buy Butland for 30m would that be so awful..... I am saying that nobody will bid that much for Pickford as it would meant that the world cup alone would have increased his value by about 60m.
A very few weeks ago the media plainly did not want Pickford as the first choice England keeper and now suddenly he is flavour of the month... watch what happens if he has a poor performance in the autumn internationals.

It's the defeatist (or realist?) attitude that rubs people the wrong way. I imagine that he sees us as a midtable team that cannot attain anything more than that - even if that's currently true, that's probably not the attitude the club captain should have.
