Petition for Standing Area at Goodison (Streetendblue)

Bringing this back up. I think it would be great to have an area where everyone who likes to sing at the match can congregate. There are loads of good songs I've seen on here by the likes of Reidy but they're going to waste. Fans are reluctant to start new songs off normally but if we're all stood up together with the same mentality then it would take the pressure away from starting off songs.

I have faith that Elstone will want the best for Everton and so will do the utmost to get it for us, I'm sure the players and Moyes will want a bit more noise in those matches when we're struggling, even if its just to drown out any boo boys. So I guess the only question is whether or not the fans believe that their support is important.

On the main point ; not for me thanks . As someone who experienced the " Short-Sharp-Shock " , that was the Boy's Pen .
Nah , as I say , not for me .
Oh , and you can't get them to spend money on the carsy's at the St. End . Can you really see Bill sanctioning this ??

There's be a barrier in front of every single row, so it would be more civilsed than the boys pen. (There won't be gangs robbing your sweets!).

Will Bill sanction it? Depends if Bill thinks an atmosphere can help the team in any way at all.

Don't forget this will be the section that starts off the songs for everyone else to join in with. Without this there's nothing to pick the team up when there struggling

As my legs wont let me stand for long can I please keep my seat:lol: I don't mind standing for a corner or free kick but 90 minutes plus injury time no can do in fact I will not do(n)

No one with any sense would want to stand a the back, you can barely see the goal at the park end when sitting never mind standing, but if you want to stand and not watch the game i suppose thats your choice.

One request is for no tickets to be sold on the last of the section because of that problem.

It's actually the very first problem mentioned on the petition
 
ideal opportunity last night for the ones who want to stand and sing to get together and do just that, plenty of spaces where they couldve gone, and lf they'd done it and created an atmosphere then they could have put that forward to the club as an example.
