What a player, beating heart of that brilliant team and brought the best out of everyone else around him. A true leader but also a very skilful player too, great eye for a pass and knew when to hold the ball and when to move it on! Football brain the size of Goodison Park.

Fully committed, hard as nails and he could play. Just lacked a bit of pace. One of our best ever.

Peter didn't lack an inch of pace in his head, faster than most up there, but I know what you mean.
