RIP counting thread.

Originally had EVERTON but had to skip out one year because of finances and I've been trying to get it back for I don't know how many years now...should've just took the late fee hit until I had the money but you don't want the fine for expired tags. The wait goes on, I check every year. You're given 2 if you order special plates but we're not required to have one on the front so the original one's on the wall; I can't find the other one.

I just dumped my previous plate below...I'll just keep waiting on my old plate to become available again, if I live long enough to see it.

Don't get me started on this. Mega-fuuuume.

My cousin in Boston has EFC1 and EFC2 for his family cars. Said it cost him about $50 each to register.

The worst ones are where they don't even make any sense. I just don't get it. My bro in law persuaded my sis in law to spunk £600 on one which crudely spelled their names. Got a penalty fine about a week after registering it, cos he'd used the screw cover to artificially create a different letter, so now it doesn't even work. Silly man.

Guy at my work turned up with one that made no sense even after he explained it.

Personal No.plates are mostly meh anyway but they totally loose all credibility when you have to try and explain what they mean.

can't for obvious reasons tell you what the plate was but his nickname is Eddie two sheds.....nuff said.

Someone round the corner from me had 'OI51 LLY', with the letters illegally bodged to read 'OI 51LLY'. I still fail to understand why you'd want a reg plate that read 'Oi Silly.

They seem to be popular with pub owners, one in Stirling had GET 11N and I always remember two openly gay guys ran a pub where I lived in Sudbury and had the reg. A55 BOY on their van which I found quite amusing.
