Exactly. Am not against rom taking it but Banies should be the penalty taker. I still can't get me head round why he isn't. Mental

Baines gave it rom for his confidence. At least romelu didnt stutter like he used to do but still baines should be on them. One miss against united last season is not enough to justify taking him off them after all the ones hes slotted.

....except he didn't hit it that well....not low enough or high enough and not far enough into the corner. Also telegraphed where he was going to put it. Baines needs to start taking them again and can be told to just hit it hard like he used to.

ART, thanks for this. Correctly put, sometimes the darkest moments must be suffered in order to see the light. After what we've gone through during RoMart's time, you couldn't pull the blue out of my bum with a.....well, you couldn't, that's all. hehe

Lukaku has buried a few but they're crap compared to Baines'.

He hit it low and hard to the keepers right....which is the way 99.9% of keepers would have dived due to his whole body shape when running up.

He basically invited De Gea to save it and he obliged

Spot on. If you hit it hard and in the corner no keeper can save a penalty without moving early. It wasn't a bad penalty, but it gave De Gea a chance.
