I'm waiting for Phil Neville to take one. I can just see it, lazy walk up then belts it straight down the middle. The ball bounces back off the bar through the keepers legs and ends up back at Pips feet. After 8 stepovers our hero smacks the ball against the post before heading it in to complete his hat trick. One can only dream.

The yak against Fiorentina was the worst moment.

Striking the outside of the post after sending the keeper the wrong way.

That one was far too casual if I remember.

Funny as before he came to us he had one of the best reputations in the game for taking pens.

Yak does have a good ratio for scoring them but he has missed some horrible looking ones for Pompey and Boro also.

I don't like Yakubu's penalty taking style, while it may have proved successful in the past that doesn't mean it still applies. Other clubs may have looked at his penalty taking style before facing us in the event of him taking one.

Has Arteta ever missed one? Why isn't he our penalty taker now that he's back.

I pretty much knew Yak was going to miss it which actually didn't bother me that much because I really don't think it was a pen. He's supposed to be this great pen taker because he can hit the ball so hard however he doesn't seem to concentrate.

Arteta to - get Timmy to - fight ANYONE trying to take one . If not him , Sir Leighton of Baines .
