Player Valuation: £30m
Paul Weller was reunited with his Jam bandmate Bruce Foxton for the first time since 1982 on May 25 as the two performed together in London.

See link to them performing Eton Rifles

Sends a shiver up my back not just as an original Jam fan but particularly in light of current events

Eton Rifles is as relevant today as it was then probably even more with the ****** Tories back in power and that ******* Cameron

Was that '81 or 82? Seen it anyway. We were scallies about 14 years old walking round Stafford all day trying to avoid the local [Poor language removed]. Saw them there and the one at Deeside Lesiure Centre in the depths of winter. Happy days.

On the Eton Rifles topic: the chinless bastards at that school actually adopted that song. [Poor language removed].

the bitterest pill is a classic

Seen em 19 times (My claim to fame)

One of the best ever gigs I went to was at the Liverpool Royal Court always forget whether 81 or 82

Best Jam Gig ever for me was Leicester City Hall 81 ( The Bucket and Spade Tour)

The Jam and music at it best boiling hot 100000 degrees etc etc Weller in a purple polka dot shirt the Jam were expolsive were on for ages and about 4 encores

Life is a drink and you get drunk when your young

1981 , I think .

Yeah , man .

I was a Clash boy . I got Weller through my Doris , now , after The Bunnymen , I think I've seen him more than anyone else . Promal Scream , maybe .

Good days , though , kid . Yeah .

Rated Bruce Foxton when he played with The Stiff Little Fingers, great Bass and vocals. Liked the Jam's music, but not so much that I equated Bruce with them
