For me this game sums up some of the comments here. The goal at 15:30 is sublime. The build-up and Brace losing his marker and then a pin-point cross to Sheeds.

No,closest was Horne and Parky for a time imho.

The midfield quartet of Steven, Reid, Bracewell an Sheedy was extremely underrated in my opinion. As a group, they offered everything. A fantastic balance.

It was against the RS I'm sure Paul in the Charity Shield,boiling hot day,I was wondering who it was our new signing,he was ace that day,bossed it against a very good Liverpool midfield.

They were league champions in 84!! Spot on Dario, Bracewell's debut was against the RS. And on the hair thing iirc his wife was a hairdresser.!

Every lad in our school that was a Blue, had his haircut 1984 / 1985.

None of the Kopites could bring themselves to go into the barbers and ask for a " Paul Bracewell ".

The girls at the time loved it and the result was we got all the best girls.

* If I remember righty his missus was a stunner too.

My dad had it at the time too.

Only thing you could probably say was missing from his game was goals,he was never prolific,but hey,he didn't have to be in that side

I remember that game like it was yesterday.

The "epic ball" from Bracewell and the one, two, three touches from Tricky almost tearing the net with his shot.

A goal that was so stunning at the time, there was silence for at least a second before the ground erupted.

So fortunate to have been there.
