His pass for the third goal here. If it happened today they'd be purring over it for weeks.

I always thought you would have to go some way to find 4 better goals scored in one game by the blues. Where will you see 2 diving headers as good as Gray's, Reidys cross for one of them and Bracewells pass for the third were world class and have always stuck n my mind as 2 of the best pieces of football i have seen at Goodison.

...the shimmy, feigns to take the ball with his right but let's it run across him and moves off on the left. If you want more from your defensive midfielders then take a video of this fella.

superb player.

Still remember cup final grandstand in 85. Mel Smith and Gryff Rhys Jones doing sketches in the style of their series of the time 'Alas Smith and Jones'. Mel Smith going on about how unbeatable Everton were with 'Andy Pandy', 'Speedy Reidy', 'Speedy Sheedy' and Paul Bracewell.

Funny how mad little things stick in your head.

We signed Brace in 84 after the cup win and at the time i didnt quite see why we bought him but he made his debut against big stand united in the charity shield and was superb in our victory ,before his injury he rarely had a bad game.
Possibly Howards best ever signing.
It was against the RS I'm sure Paul in the Charity Shield, boiling hot day,I was wondering who it was our new signing,he was ace that day, bossed it against a very good Liverpool midfield.
