To be honest i think your time lines are mixed up here, by all means critique but be factual, i can come up with more accurate smoking guns then these to be honest.
Please, be my guest?
Havent commercial revenues increased during his time as CEO.
The income has certainly increased, thats nothing to do with our commercial side of things. High placed finishes with the record Sky deal will see to that. Oh and not forgetting the deal of the century for our commercial income..... the KitBag deal, wooohoo £2.5mill for a Premiere League Club, i'm sure, even with overheads, a bit of forward thinking (i.e. expanding into foreign markets) we could easily double that figure, but it seems like to much hard work so lets just out source it.
Anyway, our glorious CEO keeps banging on about every 85p in a pound goes towards Finch Farm so we have 15p for everything else. How much would we have for everything else if he wouldnt have made that stupid decision to spend so much money leasing it back???
As far as i know their is no offical line on the annexe not being built, we have confirmation on a delay.
No official line is exactly my point, lack of communication. I have been informed that the planning application has been pulled. I'm waiting to get 100% confirmation on this.
As for DK, it was a great oppurtunity missed for the club to grow organic revenue, that has consigned it to its current malaise for possibly a decade without a change of ownership or stimulas.
The club, with Elstone in an active senior member role, pushed ahead and wasted millions of pounds of the clubs trying to push through a project that was doomed from the start. Basic business errors; like i said, if this where a FTSE company he would have been out the door [/QUOTE]
You should look around mate, i wouldnt say football is booming to be honest.
I am mate, and it is. The Sky deal is huge and there is now talk of the Arabs wanting to buy the rights to the EPL when the sky deal runs out, no doubt this will again increase the amount of money clubs will get.
We are in an economic crisis, yes, however this is not affecting the amount of money circulating in football.
To be honest im not a fan of the annexe either way, so over all im not pushed if its built or not, its restrictive and in no way can i see it provideing the projected profits (ill give you a hand here).
I don't think anyone can see the benefit, apart from Kitbag and Sodhexo who will see the profits; yet our CEO seems to think its a good idea. I honestly don't see how Everton are going to make money from this, it seems so pointless.
