Didn't mean it as a knock mate haha, just he hasn't managed any club that really demanded real success from him (e.g. trophies, Europe).

Managed Charlton - relegated and sacked
Managed Southampton - sacked
Managed Newcastle - was mostly awful and deserved to be sacked
Managed Crystal Palace - sacked

He hasn't ever left a club leaving them in a better state than before he joined them which says an awful lot about him as a manager. Hopefully he sods off to punditry for some obscure channel now.

Seems increasingly likely big Sam was sounded out in the last few days before Pardew got heave. He's a little uninspiring but very effective and badly needs to repair his reputation.
