Why would any club sack a manager and immediatly think of hiring big sam?

you know you ain't going to achieve anything when you hire him?! that is like hiring moyes, you know he won't take you any further than 5th in the league, but hiring him at chelsea and wondering why you aren't top.

Why are you looking down at the idea of finishing 5th in the league? Especially seeing as how we've been a bunch of clowns these past few years and can't even manage making the top half.

Because 5th isn't ambition mate.

If we finished 5th then fantastic, Europa league. But there is a difference between settling for 5th and it being your aim. Your aim is to win the league, you settle for 5th.
