I think the quality of modern day footballers is on a massive decline compared 15-20 years ago.

Players like Anthony for Utd 80 mil
Isak 120 mil
Wirtz over 100 mil
Rasmus Hoijland was about 60 odd mil

I actually see this the other way round.

ie. while he is a cheating, whining sod with a very punchable face. he is one of the most consistant performers in the prem.

I believe only De Bruyne and Salah have more G/A since Fernandes arrived in the premier league.

Phil Foden, looks a million dollars when his team has 90% possession, fails to influence the game when they don't.

Very good footballer, but top tier players don't rely on their team having momentum.

His bad attitude is overhyped imo, the recent thing about him storming off was seemingly made up nonsense, to this day no one can provide any evidence of him getting mad at being subbed. The TV cameras show him calmly walking off, zero attitude.

Tuchel didn't see it, no tv cameras or mobile phones captured it. I've seen people say the entire story came about from one BS comment from a Daily Mail journalist, although i don't know how accurate that claim is.

Also his attitude can't be that bad because his work rate is consistently great for Madrid.

Spanish tv did have a clip of him ranting when he got subbed off. saying he was going to leave.

Tbf, lots of players get upset at being subbed off but don't get the pelters he gets.

Edit: Forget what I said. I'm half asleep and thought you were still talking about Vini. The Bellingham stuff has defo been overblown by our rancid media.

Enzo Fernandez was my first thought but already been said numerous times.

Liam Delap, would have Calvert-Lewin over him that's how little I rate him.

Carlos Baleba, don't see the hype there either.
