I've always quite liked Villa, proper old club and all that. Kind of like Wolves, who are one of my favourite 'other' teams. I can't stand Birmingham or West Brom - just tedious clubs with no history.

Similar to the North-East. I've had a lot of Geordie mates through work and my sister's college days over the years, so I'll always like Newcastle and, to a lesser extent, Sunderland. Now Middlesboro, I'd be happy if they went out of business...

See also: Sheffield (Wednesday Good, United Bad) and Bristol (Rovers Good, City Bad). In fact, Bristol Rovers are my all-time Favourite Other Team
Gas head!

On a side note, it was ace seeing Birmingham pick up a win yesterday.

Play offs a real possibility for them.

Hi all,
Villa fan in peace. I am the organiser of the above. The first of which will be a walk out on the 74th minute against your Grand Old Club. Our website below gives more details.

As many of you will know, AVFC are after Everton the club with the highest number of seasons in the top flight, so we are pretty devastated to be going down again. Our club is in a mess!

My son in law is an Everton fan, and I have always had a soft spot for your club since the marathon League Cup Final in 1977 - which we were partly lucky to win at Old Trafford. Had some great craics with Evertonians over the three games.

Have always loved my occasional trips up to Liverpool to see family. Appreciate our struggle is nothing to do with you but any help either during the game or with likes on our facebook page would be great.
Please remove if you object to thread and apologies in advance.

no problems mate you do your walkout...If we're winning you're best out of it anyway... if we're not we'll join you

Hate the whole "you nicked our stereo" "feed the scousers thing" from opposition fans , but still sympathise with their many sound supporters that don't buy into outdated cliches.

For any travelling fans that fail to get a ticket and go on the rob instead, remember the brummies will be arriving back to their homes 16 mins earlier so leave yourself time to get away. Safe trip blues x

Think someone mention it before about how would it be if the shoe was on the other foot, how much sympathy would we get from them helmets?

Soz abar your luck, get down and stay piped down until you calm down a little and dress normal.
Going the same way as British Leyland

True this, but for me I will never forget how I felt twice on the run up to the last game of the season when we needed a result to stay up, the worst, find it hard to take pleasure in seeing others go down the toilet like this. Be different for clubs that regularly yo yo as they are use to it, but for clubs like us and them that are a standard fixture in the top flight it is quite shocking, shame its not Liverpool!
