I assumed Steve Harper was retiring but if he isn't would snap him up like a shot. only loyalty meant he wasn't number one somewhere in prem and never let anyone down from what ive seen. very good competition for Howard who clearly needs it. malouda is an odd one. cant believe he has gone so downhill, but for a free on a years contract on sensible wages maybe an impact sub if he rediscovers any form

I'd take a chance on frimpong. Cheap as chips wages, young and showed some potential. Could be a useful squad addition. Could be rubbish and end up moving on but maybe worth a look.

Pretty sure arshavin wants to go back Russia and has no disire to be in England.

He looked like a talent when he first burst through, had a horrible injury though, not sure how he has recovered, plus he has to swerve saying dench if he signs for us the belter
