Finners
1. Stones
2. Baines
3. Jagielka

Yes thats right.
No Mirallas. All defence men.
Considered Coleman but he narrowly missed it. Same with McCV8
Mirallas has flashes of brilliance but no consistent enough.

Not for me
2 of them have been here years
And failed in every big game
Baines has been good but not great this year

And jags had s good 2nd half of the season
But Is no leader or captain

We need a better leader

It's all about opinions
He didn't make prem team of the year
And him and jags weren't that great on the biggest stage last summer
Baines got ripped because Hodgson played Rooney on the wing in the Italy game meaning he had no cover and it was 2 on 1 for the whole game. Ashley Cole in his prime would have struggled.

Jagielka lost Suarez once and got punished unfortunately. Not like they had shockers despite the way they were thrown under a bus.

Who was good? Every Liverpool player was diabolically bad, Rooney was average as was Cahill yet the media have rewritten history to say if only Hodgson had selected Terry and Cole we would have won the World Cup. The idiot Hodgson benched Wilshere and Barkley for Hendo and Lallana and picked Sterling and Sturridge over Rooney in his preferred position. The man was a kopite tool and no players should be judged with that muppet in charge.

Jags was Englands best player throughout all the games they played. To single him out, as the national media did, and blame him for the woeful performances of the team is pathetic and bad kopite behaviour.
I didn't say he was woeful
And England did a few poor performaners like gerrrad and Cahill

But if you think jags is great leader and captain then so be it

But I dont, and got sick of hearing him say after every defeat that we must do better and will put it right next week

Only looked good when stones was alongside IMO

It's sad when it's hard picking a top 3 but mine would be after taking off my rose tinted glasses for my favourites.

1. Baines
2. McCarthy
3. Lukaku
