What do you lot think our biggest month is? personally I'd go for March.

WHU (H)
NUFC (A)
Cardiff (H)
Swansea (H)
Fulham (A)

I'd like to see us win all of our home games which we should do anyway and maybe get 3points on the road.

That would give us a decent chance if we are still up there battling away!

I actually think we're coming up to our defining period now. Our next five games are Man City, Hull City, Aston Villa, Tottenham, Liverpool.
If we come away with a decent points haul from them then who knows what could happen.

Liverpool Fixture List

Southampton (A)
Sunderland (H)
Man United (A)
Cardiff (A)
Tottenham (H)

Even in the next month, they play Man City home and Chelsea home so could easily drop points.

January, will we keep Baines and the start of the FA cup?

Plus the spending of the remaining money from the Felli sale and the fumefest on here will be ace.

Love the transfer window on here especially when DAVIDMOYES comes out and just announces signings before SSN! He needs to make a new account and call it Roberto!

...I remember this type of thread from last season, folk working out exactly where we pick up points etc. Unfortunately it doesn't happen like that. I know its a cliché but lets not get ahead of ourselves, the most important month and the most important game is the next one.
My benchmark has always been, 20 points for Xmas and we're ok, 25 and we're very good. 30 points by end of year and its exciting. Lets just see how we go.

If he was going it would have been in the Summer.

Why haven't we offered him a new contract? its dodgy I think.

Obviously it doesn't work like that but if we are still in with a good shot, we should do everything to get behind the team. Im not saying we should do a celtic (last night) and hold flags up and all that. Did you see our atmosphere vs Wigan in the quarters, it was shocking even when it was 0-0. Get behind the team and you can win more games.

We shouldn't drop points at home in March.

There's a run of games from now until December the 7th were we kind of alternate from tricky game versus the teams we want to be around to teams we should (hopefully) be beating. It culminates with a double away of United (4th December) and Arsenal (7th December) if we can come out of this run (we also play city away, spurs at home and the ****e at home) and are still within touching distance of the top spots we'll be in good stead.

It will also leave us with:

United at home
City at home
Arsenal at home
Spurs away
****e away

Left to play. We really need tod come out of the next 10 weeks looking strong

one game at a time.

this is optimism playing tricks on us, were getting excited and massively carried away.

Undefeated after city will do me for now.

Ah [Poor language removed] it...if we beat city were gonna win the league (y)

Happy with where we are now. Could possibly have been even higher

Maybe so, but I doubt any player at club currently challenging for Europe could look at Fellaini and think that going to United right now is a good career move. Reckon they'll be fishing in a much smaller pool over January - which may well suit Moyes just fine.
