Thing is mate that is too far in the big picture just filling threads with fascist remarks at a single poster. There is having a laugh and then there is just plain wrong.

By all means I take my stick elsewhere, vaping, pies , hell I even get the micky taken about my other half and that is all perfectly fine in my eyes. This isn't a personal thing and I talk about myself as reference only.

But a Chinese nationality fan signs up and talks about the club in the right thread and gets racial stereotype abuse every time he does? Hardly having a laugh at that point.

That's an extreme and is dealt with by the mods very well. You're not German or a nazi though, that's the point. Comparing yourself to someone being racially abused is a bit low Ash.

I haven't read this but I think the moderating on here is heavy handed at times. The mods seem to get a little bit concerned about whether they're doing their job properly and tend to be slightly over-eager in shutting people down. I've wondered for a while now whether they have quotas to fill as regards warnings/bans and I'm of a mind now to think that that is the case.

OK but what if I was Jewish? Would it be offensive then? Or had ancestors from eastern Europe affected by it?

In this personal example I have never disclosed any of that info on here so blindly I could be taking offense on a personal level. Whether I am or not is not the point because anyone posting it can't be sure.

Plus I am sure the mods deal with that well, but it repeatedly happens. There was a poster on here targeted for their posts and they got themselves banned by reacting, yet another much worse than them for the same reason is actually embraced. Again as an example.
